A day in town

A busy day. Visited the Photographers' Gallery to see Shirley Bakers photos of the slum clearance programme in Salford and Manchester. Wonderful street scenes of women and children. Next I went to see the film 45 years. Beautifully acted, lovely scenery, very slow, very sad. On then to the Wellcome Museum to see a collection of items Alice Anderson had wrapped in copper wire. Not sure why she had chosen to do this but they were beautifully lit as you can probably see from the staircase in the photo.
