Planning to get loads done today, but... M suggested a walk and decided it was more important at this stage, to spend time with family - so soon, we'll be all split up...

Walked from Whittington to Hopwas along the canal - some beautiful scenery, with sun slanting across the water, but... camera ran out of battery after three shots - so this is best reminder of the day.

Bread was rising to eat lunch at home, but... we were all hungry by the time we got to Hopwas, and besides, there's a great pub on the side of the canal, The Tame Otter - so sat in the beer garden and had a steak sandwich with yummy chips.

Was going to do my accountability walk with Gill in Newhall, but... realised I'd never make it in time - so she drove out to Hopwas and we walked from there.

In spite of all the buts, a great day so far; hoping to do a group tonight - unless another but happens...
