Natural History Museum: Main Entrance
The sun was out, and I was heading out, so I snapped the (glowing!) terracotta tiles on my way down the stairs of the beautiful main entrance. The rounded arches and various columns really are magnificent.
According to the NHM website, "The rounded arches and grand entrance were inspired by basalt columns at Fingal's Cave in western Scotland".
I had a nice day at work, and fun out with my brother in the middle of the day, but I'm now pretty tired (perhaps all the tube travelling today has taken it out of me...), so I won't say much; I hope you like the photo though.
