Steaming To The Borders

Well the very first steam train to head down the newly opened borders railway otherwise know as the Waverley Route left on time with The Queen and Scotlands First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to do the Official opening of the line on a day when the Queen beats Queen Victorias time on the throne at 63 years thats a ling time to be on the throne i guess i have some catching up with my IBS to be sitting on the throne that long jeez half an hour and my arse is numb and struggle to walk haha cuoldn'y resist that one anyway the Royal departure was pulled by ex Haymarket Shed Engine 60009 The Union of South Africa on it's merry way, good news is I have tickets for tomorrow and will be travelling down the route pulled behind this very engine so i hope I can get some good photos.
