Manchester noir

Some old railway buildings near the hotel. I used to come to Manchester in the 'madchester' days. It was quite rough then, and much of the inner city seemed derelict. It had a couple of decades of gentrification then, and for all that we may bemoan the yuppification of inner cities, it feels a lot safer and nicer now. But derelict buildings make for better photos.
