Not the Obvious

Today I tried very hard to take a picture that I haven't taken before.  I discovered that I am not good at artificial situations.  I did drape netting in front of the lens Megl  and that was interesting but the shot seemed to be artificial and lacked the feeling I was hoping for.  I've whittled it down to this old boot.  At the start of blip I would have wanted the boot in focus and colour so I see some growth in my photos.   The boot is on a wooden stand made from Totara ( a native timber) that I put the washing basket on.  The stand has a good crop of lichen on it like old Totara fence battens do.
