Garlieston

We arrived in Garlieston, in Dumfries and Galloway today to a glorious sunny day, having travelled through some wet weather to get here. We have a T25 VW campervan which we have had for around 7 years. It is lovely to get away and we are staying in Garlieston for a week. The scenery is spectacular and the campsite overlooks the harbour and Solway Firth. There appears to be little fishing but that never stops Bill whiling away the hours and relaxing. Mackeral would be good for supper one night.

I am not sure if you can give a parking ticket to a boat - but why not!
