A Taste of Summer

Finally a bit of sun today, lovely!!!
And what better way to spend it than in the park with friends eating ice-cream, feeding the ducks and playing pooh-sticks?!
We met Mrs S and Baby M at Coombe Abbey Country Park just outside Coventry -
where we went the other day for our friend's surprise birthday party which was then rained off! I thought it looked nice and as it's halfway between here and Nottingham it's a perfect meeting place for Mrs S and me.
We had such a lovely time in the sunshine and the Little Misses are now filthy and exhausted. Just for a change!
Miss E surpassed herself by falling headfirst into a muddy puddle pretty much as soon as we got there. Luckily in amongst the toys, balloons, magazines, tuppaware and general crap in the back of the car you can generally find a pair of sandals and a top and a pair of leggings or two..... Ha ha, Mr K gets so cross about it but there is method in my madness!!!
