Leap of faith

We've had a lazy day today. We stayed home this morning waiting for P's teachers to come and visit. They were ever so lovely and really took an interest in P. They explained all the things I need to know about from school lunches to PE kits and answered my questions. (Why is it though that once they had left I suddenly remember loads more I wanted to ask?!) They took the time to explain the daily school routine to P and showed her pictures of where she will hanging her coat/bag and where the snacks and water bottles will be kept. Mrs Brown commented on how well she listened and took in all the information. They also took P's picture ready to put above her coat peg. It's all getting very real now.

My mum came round for lunch and stayed with us for a few hours. It was nice to catch up as we usually only see each other briefly when I finish work on Wednesday.

We took a bike ride to the park where P watched some older girls jumping from the climbing frame. She decided to have a go too and luckily landed on both feet! After that initial jump there was no stopping her....till little A thought he would try too!
