Land cruising.

My cyclocross training rides are becoming curtailed by the darkness coming in alarmingly quickly. Tonight the added pain was the cold mist which meant I avoided any tops and stayed low. I wanted, mainly, to try out my new Land Cruiser tyres. The verdict? Heavy but robust and they're on to get me through the 3 Peaks (hopefully) without a puncture. I can't imagine I'll keep them on past that. I'm also keen to try out my new fancy CO2 tyre inflator, but I guess I'll need to wait for a puncture. No rush...
