Yaaay! Tea for Two :-)

A shock to my system this morning as I had to get up even earlier (I am not very good at mornings) as the house is absent of dog walkers, and the job fell to me. I am not totally heartless when it comes to the dogs, and once up dressed and with my make up done in super quick time, I was out with Bracken & Bozli by 6.40. Henry was under instruction not to ignore his alarm! I got back in at 7.10. Not a very long walk, I know, but long enough for them to do what they had to. You see now how redundancy affects so many parts of daily life. We no longer have a house or lifestyle suited to dogs. Not our choice, but it is what it is.

Henry was up, breakfasted and had made his lunch by the time I got back. The cat made an appearance for food and then I was out by 7.30.

The day was busy and apart from the system at work throwing a wobbly at me more times than is usual today, I got lots done. I got home at 5.45 and was greeted by a smiling Henry who gave me a big hug and proceeded to tell me in detail about each of his lessons. He seems happy with his options, teachers and school in general. It is all looking positive and I hope he continues to be enthusiastic.

I forgot to mention my uncharacteristic blip first thing, when I put ingredients for a chicken curry into my slow cooker. So a bit of rice boiled, a couple of naan breads grilled and hey presto - a proper dinner, all ready as Jon walked in the door at 7!

Now we are having a nice cup of tea - together! I feel happier today. I might even do the zip in my skirt.. ....
