B*gger
A digger in German is called a bagger, an expat friend tells a great story about how her 3 year old when back in England visiting grandparents shocked everyone around when he spotted one on the street and shouted at 3 year excited boy volume 'bugger, bugger'!
The bagger was in action from sunrise to...I'd say sunset, but that'd be a lie, these builders (or maybe demolition workers, 'cos they're not certainly not building anything) stop work around 3.30. Anyway, when all the primary kids were walking to school the bagger was in full flow, I think there were a lot of little boys late into first lesson!
