Fun with Landies

Muddy good fun today! I went off-roading, but with a difference. All the vehicles were classic Land Rovers, rather than new 4x4s with all the modern electronics doing the work for you. The full story will appear in a forthcoming magazine, but here's just a taste of the kind of vehicle involved.

The off-road course was in an interesting Midlands location, with lots of low-level barriers around the site. What were they for, I wondered? To keep foxes or pheasants from straying into the active driving area, and protect them from danger? No. Great crested newts!
