washout...........

after waiting all week to get out and about so i could finally get a shot in the daylight and what happens?
that's right, it pisses it down all feckin day! i am not amused to say the least.
i quickly grabbed this shot in a slight easing of the rain but not a complete stop of it. i only managed to get this while we were out getting a grate for the fireplace and a few other bits and bobs that go with the whole "real" fire experience such as a poker and brush and the obvious fuel for burning on it. well it was about time we got it all as the chimney was cleaned about two years ago and then never put to use.
so i am writing this quickly then going off to sit by the fire and ponder the fact that as soon as it got dark the feckin rain stopped!
