Vaich

The strath was mist covered as I set off but soon burned off and again we had another hot, sunny, blue day!
Saw not another soul until I met two shepherds on return.
Between the lodge and the dam the whole hillside was covered in Grass of Parnassus, about 100m length, and I've never seen such a profusion of the flowers. Great to see, so it's the extra! Couldn't spend too much time here as I was being eaten alive by the midgies! Luckily, there were dozens of Common Hawkers hoovering them up, also great to see.
Later, the midgies disappeared and the Hawkers rested and I did manage a few shots. There were also Black and Common Darters, got them because they pose.
All in all, a wonderful day!
