A land of plenty
Buchan. A poem by John Milne in the Doric language.
Buchan - a land o'plenty,
Peat-bogs and puddock-steels,
Weet and clorty widder,
And contermashious deils!
Buchan - a land of plenty,
Peat-bogs and toadstools,
Wet and muddy weather,
And contrary devils!
As I gaze over the plentiful and peaceful Buchan countryside I am reminded of just how very lucky we are to live where and when we do.
