Duty day

Wife decided it was time she visited her Mum in Chesterfield and she would take granddaughter who is with us for most of this week. Although I was given an opt out offer decided it might be better if I went. Journey for us was uneventful although we did pass two rather nasty accidents on the opposite carriageway on the A14. We lunched across the road at a local hotel and were joined by wife's sister & husband. After a short while back with Ma-in-law we departed and as it is my brother's birthday today we called on him as it is only a short diversion off the M1. Ended up being quite a gathering brother & wife, daughter + 2, daughter-in-law + 2 and us. All very pleasant. Not many photo opportunities but blip for today is od the bird bath in Ma-in-law's back garden - bit of a grab shot
