Another fungus

On the way home after work I thought I’d check on the fungus that I photographed recently but it wasn’t there anymore. The grass in the area where it was growing has been cut and unfortunately the fungus seems to have suffered the same fate. However, I did find another one growing at the base of a tree. I had to brush away the grass cuttings first though before I could take a photo of it.

It looks like I’ve caught a rather bad cold and my head hurts every time I have to cough, which at the moment is quite frequently. Fortunately, I have a day off from work tomorrow.
