Happy Birthday

16 years ago today my son was born, a day in 1999 mixed with joy sadness and to be quite honest fear as plans for the birth went disastrously awry and the joy of a birth was mixed with sadness as the diagnosis of his others cancer was confirmed. Well he has made it to 16 despite having me as a father and make shift mum. His real mum no doubt would have been proud of him. Thanks to his sister he had a cake made to his exacting requirements too. A good day and I am proud to have him as my son.

My extra is called make a wish I seem to have caught my dad in the back ground making one too :)
