Day 2 in this wonderful city. There are no shots from day 1 as, halfway through day 2, my memory card became somehow corrupted and I lost all of my images :-(((((

The base of the pool above is of glass, which roofs over some of the Roman buildings below. You can peer through the reflections of the "new" buildings to the ancient monuments beneath. Just one of the very clever ways in which the Spanish seem to pull off a mix between ultra contemporary design and the preservation of 2000 years of history
