A perfect symmetry
Clear clear water this morning - lots more amazing skies and crystal clear reflections - this little wall is part of a small quay juttting out into the bay, normally frequented by a white goose and a canadian goose, both very tame, and both good friends.
A busy day at school, finishing off folders - I think it might have been my last full day of the term! I'm not needed tomorrow as it's sports day and on Thursday it's the official book launch. As usual, special needs' hours for next year are in disarray so there's the usual concern as to whether I have a job or not next year . The Department does this every year at this time. Hours for special needs' children have been cut again and there's all sorts of nonsense about sharing teachers with other schools - this would make sense if it was a school nearby, but it could be 20 or so kilometres away, and travel time is subtracted from the children's hours. Weirdly it has also been decreed that each school will be given a full day's learning support assistance depending, not on how many children you have that need learning support, but on how many teachers you have!! We are entitled to two full days yet have only one child requiring support and she now refuses to go out for extra help! Confusingly learning support is different to special needs!
And then there's the football .......
