And the last BBQ of summer 2015!

David and Kenny played golf this afternoon (Oh dear, not a good round.  Kenny lost his ball at the first hole and it all went downhill from there!)  Ele and I had a better time, starting off with a very nice lunch in a local cafe, before heading to Stirling to look for curtains for Ele's soon to be completely refurbished living room.  She didn't find anything she liked so the search continues.  

Since it was such a lovely afternoon we headed back to ours the scenic route via Menstrie, Tillicoultry, Dollar then over Glendevon.   That was when we decided to have a BBQ.  Stopped off at the Coop and bought the goodies required.

Of course by the time we got back and got organised, the sun was getting low and by the time we had finished, it was dark outside.  We were lovely and cosy in the Gin Palace though and I feel better being able to say we at least used the BBQ once this year!

After Ele and Kenny left I had to get my online Tesco order done and it was getting very near the cut off time for tomorrow's delivery.  Normally that's ok but I was buying food to suit our new healthy eating plan so it was all a bit supermarket sweep!  Finally got the order placed with three minutes to spare!

So the new eating regime begins tomorrow.  Well we've certainly had a pig out weekend as our last hurrah!
