Acer again!

I Blipped this Japanese maple back in April - maybe even the same leaves - but it was so dramatically back lit by the sun this afternoon that I hope you'll excuse my doing it again.

This Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium' grows at the end of the Long Border, just opposite the conservatory, and is another example of one of those pictures which leaps out and grabs you by the camera strap!

Unlike some plant cultivars, this one is appropriately named!
