Colwyn Bay

After a shaky start, where a delayed train led to a sprint accross London to narrowly make the connection, we arrived in Colwyn Bay for a few days beside the sea.

I absolutely love nostalgic seaside towns, but Colwyn Bay was a step beyond this and was really run down. Such a waste of a pier. We spent the afternoon exploring the beach and the evening soaking up local ales in the pub before an early night ready for the huge walk tomorrow.
