Lyne Parish Church
Lyne Church was built between 1640 and 1645 and was paid for by John Hay of Yester, later to become the 1st Earl of Tweeddale. The church was once linked with Meggat Church - a long hike for the minister over the hills. That church is no longer there, but the old St Mary's Kirkyard is up in the hills above St Mary's Loch (waiting for my visit.).
This is now linked to Manor Church, and I now regard Lyne and Manor as my spiritual home.
