Penguin parade

After a swim in the hotel pool this morning, we met Grandpa and Gigi to spend the day at Edinburgh Zoo. It was a lovely sunny day which made it all the more wonderful.

We took the buggy which was a good move as Rhona was exhausted by the end of the day having been in and out of it loads. It also meant we didn't have to carry coats or bags around all day as they all went in the buggy :)

The highlights (according to Euan) were a visit to see the male panda take a poop (something pandas apparently do around 50 times per day!), the penguin parade and the dinosaur exhibition. It was such a great day out.

We all stopped in Perth for tea at a little french restaurant where we all shared mussels to start and pizzas for main. Delicious. Said cheerio to Dad and Margie and headed back up the road and put the kids straight into bed. Caught up on X-Factor and now away to bed exhausted.
