Making the most of the sunshine

There were insects everywhere enjoying the sunshine. The extra photo was taken by Mr F and you couldn't see the centre of the cosmos as it was hidden by the bee.

And the sunshine encouraged me to plant all of the plants that I had purchased recently.  All are in and watered.  And as always in the garden there are always many other jobs to do so I have cut down shrubs that have finished flowering and Mr F has cut the lawn. 

For most of the day we could hear the men resurfacing the road by our house. It was wonderfully peaceful when they finished.  As they have only done part of it they will be back another day.
