You've been framed...

I'd was going to do a Port Appin Blip today and all was going to plan until about an hour ago. The house painter knocked on the office window and called me out to show me an area of wet rot that had attacked one of the 8 the hardwood window frames.

"Drat" I said. Fortunately the others are OK and this has been caused by the largest one being placed on a soft woof packing strip which had disintegrated a long while ago. While I was blaming the telephone cable for a leak it was something much worse. Ah well, such is life.

Off to painter & decorators yard now to sort out some fillers, fungicides, aluminium paint and other (expensive) fixin's.
