Out the back

We refer to the scrub/woodland area outside our back fence as 'out the back'. At the moment it is ablaze with these flowers and a multitude of others. We feel very privileged to have access to a wild area so close to the house. It brings all manner of wildlife within reach - small mammals ( via the cats), birds, foxes and badgers. We saw a deer once and I have even spotted a wee stoat while out for a walk. I'm sure there is so much more too.
P.S. A wee badger was in the garden just ten minutes ago!
