sweet surprise

Sorry for the delay in blips. First week back to school after the summer break!
L went back to school today and I popped in to class for an hour to say hello to all the new little ones. Lots of tears from both children and parents. I was overwhelmed by the number of people in the class, but with 26 children and quite possibly 26 sets of parents plus 4 members of staff, it was quite snug!
Once things had calmed down and the children had settled, I snuck out as I wasn't working today and met up with friends for a gossip. My blip is the gift from my friend Christine as a thank you for watering their garden while they cruised the med. It was lovely to catch up with Jane too. Although I am a little envious of her class of 11!
