Today's the day ........................ to draw in

This picture was taken just after six o'clock in the evening - and you can see how the last rays of the sun are just picking out the tops of the Howgill Fells, near Sedbergh.

It's a reminder that Autumn has arrived and the nights are starting to draw in.  I love the long days of summer and it's always sad (to me at any rate) when you realise that they've gone.

Oh dear - before we know what's happening, we'll be putting the clocks back ............................
