Pointe de Six Niers
After a couple of false starts we were finally underway this morning under a glorious blue sky. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the Sentier du Champignon through woods and ancient villages and the closer we got to La Fouly the more impressive the views got as, having effectivley turned the Eastern corner of the Tour, we head back towards the higher peaks of the Massif.
Having been here just a few times before I could afford a wry smile or two at the appreciative oohs and ahs, knowing that at the very very end of our day, whilst I got us checked in, I'd send the clients round the back of the hotel onto the veranda and they'd be greeted with this stupendous view.
There are few better places to enjoy an iced panache and smiling faces.
