St Michael and All Angels

According to the wisdom of the wiki this badger was started in 1200 and has been altered or added to frequently ever since. It's a Grade I listed building and in front of the second window are the Grade II listed stocks which were given to the parish in 1882.  I couldn't really do it justice today but I'll pop back and have a proper go at it.

The plan was to have a wander around RTW but there was something going on at The Pantiles so parking was a nightmare. Instead I grabbed some shopping and came back through Frant and Lamberhurst; both jolly lovely places. Having the shopping meant I couldn't hang around but I couldn't resist this church. The funny thing is that it was easier to see from the car - I walked back along the road to find a shot but all were obstructed by branches which weren't obvious while driving. As it's Sunday I didn't want to wander around the churchyard but I will next time. Some extras on the extra photos shelf.

As an aside in an email the other day someone asked if I was still blipping. I'm just wondering if there might be an easier way of finding out than emailing and waiting for my reply............. :-)
