Goats Water

Today a walk from the cottage - a footpath that lead to Walner Scar road and then on up to Goats Water. There were times when I was going to admit defeat but we carried on and made it to the water. It was sunshine all the way up then we heard a massive rumble of thunder. On the way back we could see the rain falling over Hawkshead, Coniston and on the lake. We also saw a flash of lightning but we made it back to the cottage before any rain fell.
