The Finish is in Sight!

Awoke this morning to some much needed rainfall.   Al's week for early morning Holly walk, so they were both a little damp when they got back.   Holly was not impressed!

Went for our usual Sunday morning coffee to find a 10k race coming to an end.   Managed to get a few snaps of the men as they finished.   Extra photo shows the inflatable finish line plus the resulting puddles from the rain.   It was a little cooler this morning for the runners.

This afternoon I got all my knitting wools out to transfer into a box that had been emptied earlier in the week.   Spent a lovely couple of hours looking through patterns, wools etc to see what I was going to make.   In the end went on the internet for a free pattern.   Time to think about autumn/winter projects!
