Resized macro, fingerless gloves, etc.

...this is my reminder to finish the fingerless gloves I started last year.  The extra shows what they really look like, hand spun and knitted.  

The 'resized' is there because once again (Polaroid)Blipfoto wants me to resize the photo before it will post...easy to solve, unlike some other issues I've heard of that get no response from the help desk no matter how big the problem.  

What has happened to Blipfoto?  Someone who can't get any assistance just sent me an internet rant claiming the site is primarily comprised of retired grannies and grandpas with nothing better to do than aspire to be photographers in their dotage, that it is comparatively sparsely populated, and that it has a preponderance of mediocre photos (why would anyone expect more from a photo a day journaling site) and no effective management.  Well, if that's the case then perhaps this is a social experiment, where they are letting the elderly run rampant and waiting to see what happens--here's a mediocre photo from a 60-year-old, unfortunately not a granny, but you get my drift~ :)

Oh, and thanks for admiring the lone kayaker. I had to turn my comments back on for it to appear in the popular pages. But Miffy mentioned her comments are off and her pics are still there. As for me, I had a homeless guy who really wanted to see himself in the popular pages, but even with 10 favs or so, he didn't show up, darn it. I figured it was because of lack of views and comments being off. The heck of it is that I usually don't care, but the one time I promise him he's going to be famous, it didn't happen~ :))

BTW, if you want a fresh alternative with no uploading problems, excellent showcasing pages, someone at the helm to help with even the smallest issue, lots of officially supported challenges and ways to get involved, and all with ex and current blippers there trying it out, 365 Project is one such site~
