What's the next step?

Do I harden the old heart and thin them early?
Or do I just resort to feeding the little perishers?

Even allowing for the fact that I've "grew some",
I seem to remember FAR BIGGER Goose gogs than these.
These will NOT survive until Christmas, in fact they were devoured B4 I got them Backblipped. (6th Sep)

Another nit-pick:-
Why do people talk about them as "Guzzberries"? If they saw a live one in a field would they say ... "Oh look there's a Grey Lag Guzz."? 
or "We decided to have a Guzz for Christmas this year."
Maybe they do - "I don't really know" said Mavis.
