Vide grenier

A vide grenier is an empty loft. And when you've emptied your loft you set up a stall and sell off all your unwanted stuff.

Better known in England as a Car Boot sale and on this beautiful Sunday morning the sea front was full of people who had brought all their unwanted goods and chattels to sell off.

As you can see, it was very popular. We were not tempted, however.
