The Lesson

Babies are starting to appear at the lake at the Taylor Dam. The dog and I took a quick walk around the lake this morning. A young couple were at the lakeside feeding the black swans and ducks. One pair of black swans have two babies. These cute little things were tweeting away while they were being taught how to feed themselves. I and the young couple were highly amused at the antics of the babies as they attempted to go bottom-up like the big swans. There was a flurry of movement and much splashing of water as they tried to perfect the technique.
By the way we still have Molly the Maine Coon confined indoors. She has had a nice time this afternoon sharing the top of our bed with me while I did some reading and had a power nap. Thank you everyone for your good wishes.
