Wetlands

A new park we hadn't been into. 10 acres donated by the Wells family to the people of Mapua who have been planting it up since 2010. Trev and I wandered round the paths. Not a lot of bird life although we saw a welcome swallow and one duck and heard others. It will look good in a few more years.
I saw pond weed for the first time since primary school when we kept frogs in an aquarium. I always thought it looked like maidenhair fern on the water.
