DO I DARE?

This is a junior chippie, not nearly as large as the adults yet.  He didn’t know what to make of me sitting on the deck with my camera, but froze on the spot and stared forever at me.  If there are peanuts out, the older chippies go right for them and don’t care if I’m around, but this one wasn’t that brave.  Suddenly he scooted back under the deck, never to be seen again.
