Final Destination: Sonic Rock 2012

Following my 200 miles odyssey from Norfolk yesterday, todays 80 or so mile drive from Shropshire to the Royal Welsh Show Ground, which should have taken about an hour and a half, took two and a half! There was a ridiculous tailback of traffic coming through the centre of Newtown, and we encountered three lengthy sets of roadworks with convoys of traffic being led through.
But we arrived, got the tents etc sorted and then chilled with a cuppa. And despite the horrible weather (rain and strong wind) I took in the beautiful scenery around the showground - even with those lousy weather conditions it looked so lovely compared to the flattish landscapes I'm used to in Norfolk.
So today's blip is the campsite with that beautiful background.
