The Sparkling Waters of Lake Louise

We started our road trip to Mara Lake today, taking in some fantastic sights on the way.

We stopped at Lake Louise where the emerald colour water was sparkling in the sun. Beautiful.

We also stopped at Banff Springs where the famous hotel sights high up above the Bow River. An imposing sight.  We had a very enjoyable coffee and cake stop there!
