Climber

Rode the balance bike to the library, then the park for some good climbing - and a fortuitous light rain shower to help us escape as lunchtime appeared. Lovely lunch in the deli and astonished how much pasta Matthew got through. Then went for another potter on the bike. Think we picked too long a route though - had an absolutely fabulous time for a while followed by a small bit of resistance and then a big meltdown after jumping in a puddle on purpose and drenching his trousers with mud. A quick change and some milk and I offered to carry hom for a bit - and he promptly fell asleep. Never been so glad to see the benches outside Scotsdales in my life. When he woke he was cheerful for a while running round the sheds but clearly still quite tired and it took a long long while to make it the mile home. Overall a pretty good day though. Perhaps something a bit more sedentary tomorrow!
