Raindrops

An early start this morning as my daughter and I had an appointment.  It was very chilly and raining.  I had an extra jacket on but was still cold and really should have taken gloves and a scarf.  So much for late summer or early autumn.  I took my daughter along to the Kings X development area as she hadn't seen it for quite a while and she was surprised at the way it has changed since she last visited  There is an outdoor pool which I mentioned in a previous blip and today people were actually swimming in it.  Some with wet suits on.  A family were stripped to swim and the man just climbed in but the lady dipped her toe and walked away.  Their small child wanted to go in so she came back over and passed him to dad into the water.  She finally got in and screamed from the minute she entered the water.  She swam from one side of the pond to the other (which wasn't very far) and she screamed the whole way and got out.  My daughter and I couldn't stop laughing.  Very naughty of us as neither of us would have dreamt of going in there with the temperatures outside today.  They were all very brave I don't know how they do it.   I hope your weather was better than ours.
