Alice

Oh how lovely it was to have a lie in this morning and how grand it was to read in my pjs until midday. I eventually stirred myself into action and decided to go into Eccles. Apparently, it is one hundred and fifty years since the publication of Alice in Wonderland and they were celebrating with a festival. 

I haven't been there for a while and it will be a long time before I go again and it was 'interesting' and full of 'interesting' people....that is all I am going to say :)

I met up with the coven this afternoon for tea and scones and chat...lovely.

Tomorrow I might go to Tatton Park as there is an American Civil War  re-enactment on. Is anyone else popping along???


Oh, by the way we came second in the quiz last night...by half a point!!!!!
