Bouncing

In more ways than one! The Dopski has been hyper all day.

This morning we went in to town to meet Granny off the bus. Unfortunately, there had been an accident and the bus was stuck behind it (the young chap was conscious when the air ambulance took him to hospital - hope he's ok).

The Dopski and I were waiting on a bench near the bus stop, when a bus driver approached us. He asked me if I was waiting for someone (Lols, thought my luck was in!!!) and when I said yes, he said, your mum coming from Glossop? The mad old bat had left her mobile at home and was whittling so much on the bus that she had got the driver to speak to all the other drivers coming through town to get a message to me - oh good grief! I told him that I had just assumed she had missed the bus and was getting the next one!

When she did finally arrive, we had to go straight for coffee and dinner as I think the bus journey had slightly freaked her out.

The whole aim of her visit was to pick up some of her paintings from the Museum. We toddled in, asked where to pick the pictures up from, to be told......yes, you've guessed it.....the pick up weekend was next weekend! D'oh.

Anyway, after a wander around the shops (I won't bore you with my tale about M&S) we came home to slow cooked lamb leg and shank, in red wine and Rosemary. Lovely, jubbly :)

Left the Dadski bathing The Dopski before bedtime, whilst I drove my mum back home. After an hour long round trip, I arrived back to find a wide awake Dopski watching Bambi - aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh! Both The Dopski and Dadski are going straight to bed tomorrow at the first sign of a tired tantrum, I'm having nothing to do with it!

The End :)
