Wound up in Wexford

Shugborough Hall

We've had the sort of day today that this holiday was supposed to be all about, but which have been lacking earlier due to the loo problems.

We left the keys to the boat with the Anglo Welsh depot on Great Haywood, and went to do some shopping in the village - an extra of a village street with a GR (not GviR) postbox for Bivbov.

Then we walked over the Essex Bridge (also in extras) up to Shugborough Hall, and enjoyed a gentle wander around the gardens.  We didn't actually go into the Hall.

Then back to the boat (now with replacement toilet, thank goodness), and we decided to barge up the canal for about an hour.  Now moored up in a stretch which is adjacent to the River Trent, hoping to perhaps see a kingfisher.
