Self indulgent Saturday

It's been a gloriously 'me-time' filled Saturday today which has felt deliciously self indulgent and wonderful. I had a long lie-in which involved watching catch up TV in bed rather than actual sleeping, obvs. Watched that Jamie Oliver shizz and now will be even more closely guarding everything that goes into my chops. Then I surprised myself by running a fairly easy 13km where at no point did I want to die. At my mid-way point in Uffington there was a box of free damsons on someone's drive, perfectly placed for a mid run snack. Then a read of the (free) Guardian whilst drinking (free) coffee - thanks waitrose - before a bit of food prep for the dedication tomorrow.

So that was my day, for anyone who was wondering.

The above - ridiculously dull - image is one of the only pics I took today. I got a free fashion book thing in the guardian which I sent a picture of to ss. I'll save it for when she's back because obviously I have absolutely no use for it.
