I. M. Angus Dunn
Today Angus Dunn was memorialised in Cromarty by family and friends. Writer, editor and publisher, he was the longest serving editor of Northwords Magazine. Thanks to his family and his own great spirit it was a joyous occasion. I drove back along the south coast of the Black Isle afterwards, stopping to take this picture looking back towards Fortrose. Angus was in my life for at least twenty five years and, in a sense, will always be in it. A beautiful selection of his poems, titled High Country, will be available soon. He leaves a lot of sore hearts behind, but a lot of warm memories.
